Born in one of these remote trailer parks in East Tokio, Arkansas, Ingber, Dingus and Rebus Inbread have been used to hardship and misery from an early age. Says Ingber:”Back in them Old Days, when we were little Boys, oftentimes there wusn’t as much food fer us toddlers as a little bit of cornbread an’ a lump of gravy. Had to wrassle the hounddawgs fer it, too.<\/p>\n
That’s when pa was mindin’ the stills an’ ma was goin’ wild with the girls in town or with that dentist from Illinois. So sum times our uncle Fester would watch out after me an’ Dingus an our little brother Rebus an learn us how to sing them old songs, how to pick an old guitar, strum a dulcimer or slide on the steel guitar while he was manhandlin’ the little hand mandolin. He was a great musicianer, was uncle Fester. An’ playin’ music was all he could do since he went blind; some say from drinkin’ his own moonshine whiskey, others say from when his whiskey still blew up in his face.”<\/p>\n

\nIngber Inbread spielt Dulcimer, Mandoline und Gitarre. Er ist der Wortf\u00fchrer der Gruppe und als \u00e4ltester Bruder der anderen beiden (oder vielleicht sogar als ihr Erzeuger, wie er selbst sich manchmal br\u00fcstet) der nat\u00fcrliche Anf\u00fchrer der drei. Selbstverst\u00e4ndlich ist er auch der beste S\u00e4nger des Trios, vor allem f\u00fcr zweite Stimmen.
\nDingus Inbread ist f\u00fcr Slide Gitarre und Mandoline zust\u00e4ndig. Als mittlerer Bruder versucht er manchmal zwischen den andern beiden zu vermitteln. In der Regel l\u00e4sst er jedoch den Dingen seinen Lauf und konzentriert sich auf das Singen, da hat er genug zu tun.
\nRebus Inbread als J\u00fcngster der Gebr\u00fcder ist der Fiddler der Gruppe. Daneben spielt er zwischendurch Gitarre, singt und ist froh, wenn sein “Brudervater” Ingber nicht zu b\u00f6se dreinschaut…
